Laboratory
The block housing the hospital's laboratory and outpatient services.
Diagnostic testing behind every diagnosis
Our laboratory team runs the tests that underpin diagnosis and treatment decisions across every department of the hospital — from a routine blood count during an outpatient visit to urgent cross-matching before surgery.
Samples are processed on site by our laboratory technologists, with results feeding directly back to the requesting clinician the same day for most routine tests.

What to expect at a Level 4B hospital
Routine and moderately specialised testing is carried out in-house. Highly specialised assays — such as advanced hormone panels or molecular/genetic testing — are referred to a reference laboratory or a Level 5 facility.
