A faith-based hospital serving Chuka and Tharaka-Nithi County
Consolata Cottage Hospital is situated in Chuka town — about 200 metres from the main stage along the Kaanwa highway, opposite Chuka Boarding Primary School and St Joseph Catholic Church.
The hospital combines outpatient and inpatient services with the pastoral character of its founding mission: staff are trained clinicians first, but the hospital's identity is one of consolation as much as cure.

The maternity ward supports labour and delivery, with the adjoining nursery caring for newborns immediately after birth.
